  • Make Argentina be seen as an appealing place to take undergraduate, graduate and language courses.
  • Export by way of agreements high quality services in the technical, technological, scientific, and educational fields offered by FAUBA.
  • Improve the Argentine technical and scientific production by fostering the international cooperation and university-to-university student and teacher exchange between the UBA and other educational institutions across the world.

Mission

The UBA School of Agronomy, through the International Relations Department dependent on the Institutional Relations and Development Secretariat, fosters the opening of new cooperation and knowledge transfer channels as well as education exchange methods.
This will allow for multiple professional opportunities in a globalized world and will improve the development, teaching and learning outlook.

Tasks

  • Work and actively cooperate with other education institutions' International Relations Offices.

Achievements

The creation of the International Relations Area in 2005 made possible for the School of Agronomy to expand its frontiers and strengthen its relations with the scientific and academic world.

Considered to be of a parliamentary interest by the Senate, the International Relations Department was officially presented at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship.

In a cooperation agreement with the Department of Institutional Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both institutions agreed to coordinate their work for an exchange with foreign research and academic education institutions.

We are now in contact with more than 50 foreign embassies in the country.

We have contacted more than 300 agronomy related schools and institutes all over the world.
We have a database with more than 100 entries about international undergraduate and graduate courses.
